5 STEPS TO SUCCESS
The following is for children’s picture books only, roughly 750 words or less:
STEP 1: UNIVERSAL CHECKLIST AND WEEKLY CHECK-INS ($200)
We’ll get you started with a full list of absolutely everything you’ll need for publishing your book, from setting up your LLC to signing a contractor with an illustrator. Plus, someone at the IAPC will check in with you via DM or e-mail to check in with you once per week until your manuscript is done - see where you are in the process, and how we can help if you’re stuck at any particular point.
STEP 2: MANUSCRIPT REVIEW ($200)
We’ll read and review your manuscript and give you honest feedback as to it’s salability. We’ll give you detailed notes for improving the story, characters, plots, engagement, etc. If your book is written in verse, an additional $150 will be charged for editing meter and assisting rhymes.
We will have one of our professional editing partners edit your book, correcting all spelling, capitalization, grammatical and other issues prior to going to print.
We will get your files together correctly for the printer, making sure everything is in order so that printing is not held up and there are no issues with your book. We will work with your illustrator either directly or through you to get the material and files that we need. If copy needs to be placed on the pages, an additional $300 will be charged.
STEP 5: PRINTING AND SHIPPING (PRICE VARIES)
We will work with one of our carefully vetted print partners and shipping partners to get your books printed with super high quality and shipped anywhere in the world that you would like them to go.
