This was my good fortune, as my Nana and Dad read to me. I have such fond memories of those times.
Loving my childhood and the freedom I had to play and explore, I wanted to pass that on to the next generations, so I became an early childhood educator. Of course, my favorite part of the day was reading to the children. Books are door openers to conversations and fun learning. Today, reading aloud to children is still a favorite activity I relish. It doesn’t take much to talk me into coming to read to your group of little ones. I enjoy the stories and adventures just about as much as they do!
I am now retired after 42 years of teaching preschool, doing parenting classes, and training student teachers. Feeling called by God to reach out more globally to children, I have written my own stories, sharing the love of Jesus with blessings and prayers through fun and interactive stories.
