This book is a bilingual Spanish/Ngäbe children's counting book to ten.

The illustrations are beautifully done by Vanessa Crooks, who works for Smithsonian Institute in Panamá, Central America.

The back matter has a list of the 18 ways to count in Ngäbere. We use only one form - the long shape, for example, in our book. In addition, there is information on the indigenous Ngäbe Nation and a few photos of children and adults in native dress.
