Ruthie Wu is a proud Chinese American author, who debuted her book “Kitty Learns A New Lesson” with Duck Duck Books. She loves listening to and telling stories through words, art, music, and dance. She is the first of her family to be born in the States and grew up in Missouri as a multilingual in Mandarin Chinese, Xia Tan Hua (her mother’s dialect), Tian Jia Hua (her grandmother’s dialect), and English. She currently lives in Kansas City with her cat, Merlin.
