"The little boy and the little girl took Goldy to the park early because she had a puppy class. Goldy loved to run and bark there, and slowly her friends started arriving with their families. Though Goldy wanted to run, she had her training. Leash walking was first and Goldy looked sweet as they weaved in and out. She did it well and the boy and the girl gave her a treat. The next was the pack walk and Goldy was the leader for that day. After a while Goldy was tired and she lay on the ground while the other puppies barked and played. Goldy was happy to be in the shade and she wanted another treat. For the rest of the class, Goldy slept and she was done for the day."
"Goldy the Puppy Goes to Puppy School (Goldy the Puppy, Book 2) by Kim Ann is an adorable story filled with fun and delightful illustrations by Nejla Shojaie. Written in rhyming verses, this story is all about Goldy's adventure at puppy school and is a real treat for all animal lovers. The pictures show the different breeds of puppies playing in the park and attending the puppy school. All dog lovers will connect with this story of Goldy and it is interesting to watch the training exercises for the dogs. Like the rest of the books in this series, this story is also heartwarming, real, and relatable, and can be kept at home and in school libraries for children to read about Goldy's adventures and get introduced to new concepts."
