Deborah Piccola M.A. Ed, Early Childhood Educator 28 years
I recommend adding Rhonda's Amazing Feet to your home or school library. The story is engaging and educational. I love the glossary of the Wildlife of Sumatra and the folklore about the firefighting rhino. Early childhood students will love the fun story of friends helping Rhonda finding herself after comparing herself to others. The illustrations are fantastic!

What a fantastic addition to any library! Teachers, parents and children can enjoy a rare look at many animal species native only to Sumatra in this fun and captivating book. This book sparks so many ides for discussion, such as: DIfferences/Similarities between animal feet; how animals move; legends; and how to use references stated in a book, to name a few!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rita Goldner's passion for nature, and love of drawing and writing, made picture books a great fit for her. She sketches animals from life, at the zoo, where she met the characters for this story. She then re-draws the characters in action-adventure scenes in her stories. Rita hopes that instilling an understanding of endangered animals/habitats and global ecology will ensure that her readers will strive to preserve all this when they grow up. Her storytelling style, colorful whimsical pictures, and lively action-packed plots, make learning fun.
