Patricia Hoyt, Pen Name A.K.A. PD Hoyt retired from teaching in 2020 after teaching Elementary Education for 34 years. She also directed three childcare centers before opening her own center called, "Curious Too." Patricia published three children's literature stories: The Bakery Shop, The Mother's Day Gift and The Alphabet Comes Marching In and Literacy Guide. She is currently working on two new stories which will be published in the near future. PD Hoyt is a mother of two children who enjoyed singing, acting and playing while they were young. As a mother and a teacher, she reflects on what children love and she creates fun, engaging and interactive stories for her audience of children and educators alike. PD hopes to connect kids and teachers globally to her stories by spreading her message of diversity, kindness, caring, and curiosity. Many of her stories include lesson plans and fun activities for kids and adults. Patricia lives in Thornton, NH with her partner Lester and their cat Smokey. She also enjoys when her Grand-dog Benji comes for visits. PD enjoys reading and writing, gardening, exploring in nature, hiking, biking, skiing and golfing. She loves visiting schools and sharing her books with children and adults, educators, and authors.
